After 20 months of war waged in Gaza, and Hamas considerably weakened, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert joins FRANCE 24’s Gavin Lee to follow up on his scathing criticism in Haaretz of Netanyahu and Israel’s ever-expanding war in Gaza. “What is the military achievement that justifies the expansion of Netanyahu’s military operation?” Former PM Olmert asserts that “most Israelis think there is no reason to continue. And they say that the only reason for it are the political considerations for the (embattled) prime minister.”
